MagicMenu: X11 Does Not Allow Applications to Use Menu Bar SpaceMagicMenu work on auto-hiding the X11 top menu bar. However, X11 seems to have fixed the top-most pixel that any application can travese to. X11 does not allow any application to move to the space where the menu bar would show if it was not hidden. Apple need to make its X11 application more like other Mac OS applications with regards to the menu bar location. Chieh Cheng I have upgraded to XQuartz 2.3.0 on Mac OS X 10.5.4. But the problem persists; X appications still can't use the top menu bar area. I have just sent an e-mail to the X11-Users mailing list. I hope some of the smart folks over there could help. Here is a link to the e-mail I sent: http://lists.apple.com/archives/X11-users/2009/Jul/msg00053. . . . Chieh Cheng Did you ever find a workaround for this? Hari Nope. No solution yet. The problem is in the X11 app or Mac OS X API. Chieh Cheng
