Unrar To Directory (GPL)

"Unrar To Directory.cmd" is Windows batch program that de-archives all of the files in a RAR archive and places them in a folder that is titled the same as the RAR archive. It save you the time of creating a new folder, renaming the folder, and then copy the files from the RAR archive to the folder. It's a one step drag-and-drop operation with "Unrar To Directory.cmd".

"Unrar To Directory.cmd" takes advantage of the following batch files. They are also available on this web site. So to use "Unzip To Directory.cmd", you'll have to download these other batch scripts, if you don't already have them.

You will also need an command-line unrar utility in your path in order for this batch file to work. You can get a free command-line unzip utility from RARLAB (see link in the "Related Links" section below).

"Unrar To Directory.cmd" is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site. If you make changes to this batch file, please feel free to upload it back here to share it with others.
