SetNumberOfArguments.bat is a Windows batch program that counts how many parameters are on the command-line. Then it sets a batch variable with the count. Thus, your own batch programs can use this script to determine if the user has passed the correct number of parameters and act accordingly. SetNumberOfArguments.bat sets the following variable for your batch file to read: %NumberOfArguments%
I have purposely choose this long variable name to avoid conflict with other variables that may be in your batch script. You are welcome to modify the variable name as you wish.
SetNumberOfArguments.bat is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site.
The following is an example of how you can use it in your own batch script.
call SetNumberOfArguments.bat %*
