"Extension.cmd" is a Windows batch program that returns the extension, minus the period, of a file path you specify. You can call this script from your own custom batch script to extract the file name extension.
"Extension.cmd" takes advantage of the "SetNumberOfArguments.bat" script that is available on this web site. So to use "Extension.cmd", you'll have to download "SetNumberOfArguments.bat", if you don't already have it.
