RemoteDesktop.sh (GPL)

Much like the ConnectSSH.sh that is posted elsewhere on this site, RemoteDesktop.sh allows you to connect to various Remote Desktop sessions using rdesktop by simply specifying an alias. Once it's set-up, you won't have to remember all the command-line parameters that are needed to start rdesktop.

To set up the alias configuration file, create "RemoteDesktop.txt" in the same directory as this executable script. Each entry is on a separate line. Each entry has three fields that are separated by the '|' character. The three fields are: 1) alias name; 2) host name; 3) command-line flags. Command-line flags can be an empty field. The command-line flags are passed to the rdesktop client.

RemoteDesktop.sh is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site.
