Hand Weapon

The hand weapon is a firearm designed for one-handed action. Generally carried on the belt, it can be unholstered and raised for firing quickly. Upon firing, the hand weapon spurts flames--very tiny blue-white sparks. Each spark indicates a pellet of metal flying away at high velocity.

Human Pressure Suit

The human pressure suit is a fully-enclosed system that keeps its wearer alive in the vacuum of space. Without this suit, a human will sofficate from the lack of oxygen. The suit stabilizes internal pressure and regulates temperature on par with that of the ship environment. The human pressure suit has magnetic boots to attach to the metal hull of the ship to keep the wearer from flying away from the ship.

Plumie Pressure Suit

The Plumie pressure suit is made of the same material as their ship. It looks like golden space armor. The clear plastic helmet of the suit is very high; similar to the armor knights used to fight in. The pressure suit was, engineering-wise, a very clean job. External voice is communicated via a small speaker-unit at one of the shoulders. A tiny vent in the suit allows the suit to depressurize. The pressure suit does not use magnetic-soled shoes. Therefore, when floating in space, Plumies have to hold onto lines threaded along the ship's hull.

Vision Plate

The vision plate is very similar to today's liquid crystal display (LCD), where it displays a video image. Like the LCD the vision plate display the image on a thin surface. Except this thin surface is made out of metal and is no thicker than a piece of cardboard.
