SimpleEdit.mscr (GPL)

"SimpleEdit.mscr" is an extremely simple text editor that is written completely in MortScript. It is for editing text files on Windows Mobile devices when all other options have failed. You can run this script easily on the Start menu by placing it into "My Device\Windows\Start Menu".

"SimpleEdit.mscr" requires the free MortScript interpreter to execute. So in order to use this script, you'll have to download and install MortScript on your Windows Mobile device, if you haven't already done so.

"SimpleEdit.mscr" is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site.

Known Issue: Carriage-return (enter key) is the same as clicking the OK button. It will save your text file and close SimpleEdit.mscr. That is a fundamental problem in the way that input dialog box is implemented in MortScript and cannot be overcomed in SimpleEdit.mscr. The work-around is to copy-and-paste carriage-return.
