FileDate.php (GPL)

"FileDate.php" is a PHP command-line script that outputs the time stamp of a file in a sequential manner for storage and sorting. You can use the "FileDate.php" output as legal file name.

"FileDate.php" is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site.

Usage

FileDate.php "file 1" [ . . . "file n" ]

Examples

$ ls -aogF --full-time cpanel3-skel.tar
-rw-r--r-- 1 10240 2006-12-07 06:50:48.000000000 +0000 cpanel3-skel.tar
$ FileDate.php cpanel3-skel.tar
20061207_065048
